The five chairs are identified as early-production CH29 “Sawbuck” models by Hans J. Wegner for Carl Hansen & Søn. Their solid oak frames retain the design’s angular supports and visible joinery, while the seats have been professionally reupholstered in black skai. Manufacturer stamps are noted on the undersides of the seats. Each chair measures 29.5 in (75 cm) high, with a 16.9 in (43 cm) seat height, 19.7 in (50 cm) width, and 15.7 in (40 cm) depth. The frames are described as sturdy and well preserved, with normal age-related wear.
