This set comprises six “Lis” dining chairs attributed to designer Niels Koefoed and made for Hornslet Møbelfabrik in Denmark during the 1960s. Each chair has a tall, ladder-like backrest, tapered legs, and a richly grained rosewood frame. The seats have been newly upholstered in black skai. Frames were cleaned and treated with Danish oil; the chairs are described as being in excellent vintage condition, with minor traces of age consistent with careful use. Measurements are 37.4 in (95 cm) high, with a 17.7 in (45 cm) seat height, 18.5 in (47 cm) width, and 16.1 in (41 cm) depth.
